DIY Ideas for Projects with Kids

You will need:

  • Colored paper or color the paper yourself
  • Scissors

How to:

When you want to occupy your child with something interesting and creative, and learn shapes and colors – make tulip flower out of the paper. Use colored paper or color the paper yourself as seen in the picture.

Fold the paper to create a square, this part is your flower. The leftover rectangular part is the stem to the flower.  Fold the square to the form of the triangle, do it twice on both sides. Fold the edges of the triangle towards the center, please refer to the image. Now, you got four little triangles. Each little triangle, fold toward the middle of the flower. Insert one edge into the other. Blow air into the flower. Unfold the top portion of your flower, to create leaves. Put the stem and flower is ready.
